Funeral Arrangements for Fred Robinson

Fred’s Funeral will be held on Thursday the 19th of October 2017. Following a private cremation, there will be a Service of Thanks Giving at St John’s Beeston Parish Church in the centre of Beeston, Nottingham at 15.00 hrs followed by a wake at the same venue.

27 Members attend OOD training evening

Twenty-seven enthusiastic members met in the clubhouse to participate in an OOD training evening. The word training probably conjures up the idea of death by view foil followed by a test with pass and fail marks. Nothing could be further from the truth for this event.

KINGFISHER CUP & LADIES PLATE

Sunday 24th September We had twenty boats take to the water yesterday for this years Kingfisher Cup and four Ladies competed in the Ladies Plate. The weather was bright, sunny and the wind quite consistent throughout the race.

Pursuit series 17 Sept

The racing got away in warm sunshine and light winds with Iona Reid leading the fleet away in her Concept dinghy. She was followed by 14 others with Dennis and Jannis King being the fastest boat away this weekend with the lack of any Phantom sailors.
