A very enjoyable Friday casual sailing. Wind was SE 10 knots, gusting to 16. And a pleasant 16 degrees. 8 boats on the water with most sailing for a good while.
But it is still very cold when it comes to sitting outside for a drink.

30th April:
Another day of shifty winds. Fairly light but picking up from time to time so everyone was happy.
Black clouds approaching brought everyone in for a while but the rain missed us. Most called it a day. Louis and I sailed for a bit longer.

7th May:
An interesting wind. From the northwest. 7 knots gusting to 17. Ranging from steady to fun.
And the temperature didn’t drop like it has been doing so a pleasant drink afterwards.
This week’s boats were:
6 Lasers

14th May:
Light winds today. For a time we thought we might not be able to enjoy any worthwhile sailing. But in the end, there was enough. For most of the time, the wind was about 4 knots, gusting to 7 knots. Considering the light winds, the turnout was good. 8 boats sailed.
This week’s sailors were:
3 Lasers
2 Mirrors

We will be continuing to sail each Friday afternoon/evening. Louis and Dennis have been getting there for about 3:00. Hope to see you there. Sunset is at 9:06 PM next Friday.
