Attenborough Sailing Club is delighted to welcome you to our annual Open Day. A fantastic opportunity to experience sailing first-hand in a friendly, relaxed and supportive environment.
Whether you’re completely new to sailing, looking for a new hobby, or simply want to enjoy a great day out by the water, our Open Day is designed to give you a real taste of what club life has to offer.
⛵ Try Sailing for Free
Take to the water with one of our experienced helms and discover the enjoyment of sailing in a safe and controlled setting. No prior experience is needed, just bring your enthusiasm and we’ll take care of the rest.
🌿 Enjoy a Unique Setting
Located within the beautiful Attenborough Nature Reserve, the club offers stunning views and a peaceful setting. From the water, you’ll get a whole new perspective of this special place.
☕ Relax and Take It All In
Our clubhouse and viewing balcony will be open throughout the day, serving:
- Tea, coffee and soft drinks
- Cakes, snacks and light refreshments
- Ice creams (weather permitting!)
It’s the perfect place to relax, chat with members, and soak up the atmosphere.

Boat rides are very popular, so we recommend arriving early to make the most of your visit and avoid disappointment.
