Burns Night ’26

Following on from the success of last year, the club will once again be hosting a Burns Night Supper on Saturday 24 January 2026, starting at 18:30 at Attenborough Sailing Club.

This will be a great opportunity for members and their guests to get together during the winter break when we’re not sailing.

Haggis, neeps and tatties will be served with vegetarian and gluten-free options also available. The evening will continue with poetry readings and singing, followed by traditional ceilidh dancing. Kilt optional!

Dessert will be a served after, with cheese and biscuits in between the dancing.

Don’t worry if you’re not confident on the dance floor – Lucy and Rachel will be on hand to show you the steps. And if dancing really isn’t your thing, please come along anyway. It promises to be a relaxed, sociable evening and something a little different for the club.

Members and their guests are very welcome.

Please let us know if you’re coming by filling in the form below.

Please Note:

We are now fully booked. We are taking names for a waiting list in case anyone drops out. No need to pay yet.
