Our club can only run thanks to the dedication of its volunteers — and right now, we have some vital committee roles that need filling. Without these roles, many of the activities and services we all enjoy simply can’t happen.
We’re looking for people who can spare a little time and energy to help keep the club running smoothly. You don’t need to be an expert — just willing to get involved and learn along the way.
Roles we urgently need to fill:
- Treasurer – The Treasurer plays a key role in managing the club’s finances, keeping our accounts in order, and ensuring we can budget confidently for the future.
After six years of dedicated service, Richard will be stepping down, but he’s happy to guide and support whoever takes on the role to make the transition smooth.
If we can’t fill this position, we’ll need to pay around £220 a month for external services — money that could otherwise go towards the club and its members - Bosun – Overseeing the maintenance and care of our boats, equipment and compound, keeping everything in safe, working order.
- Communications Lead – Sharing news, updates, and events with members through the website, email, and social media.
By stepping into one of these positions, you’ll be making a huge difference to the future of the club and helping to keep our community thriving.
