Following on from the success of last year, the club will be hosting a Burns Night Supper on Saturday 25th of January 2025 starting at 18:30 hrs.
It will be a great opportunity for members and their guests to meet up during the 2 months when we are not sailing.
Haggis (there are also vegetarian and gluten-free options), neeps and tatties will be served courtesy of Sue Burnham at the event and this will be followed by poetry reading and singing plus traditional Ceilidh dancing. Kilt optional.
We’ve got a trifle dessert with cheese and biscuits in between the dancing.
Don’t worry if you’re not good at dancing, there will be people on the day to show you the moves. Or if you really don’t want to dance, don’t worry, please come along anyway. It should be a good night, and something a bit different for the club.
