Race Management – Wednesday 29th September

Want more confidence to do Sailing duties… this is for you!?!

This event is now getting close but is engineered to give you greater confidence to do your allocated Sailing Duties.

This talk about Race Management, presented by David Wilkins, Regional Instructor from the RYA, will help greatly.

David gave Attenborough Sailing Club a simple and well balanced talk covering the topic of Race Management back in 2017 and was so popular we have decided to run a similar event again this year.   The talk is open to all club members to attend, whether new to sailing or to racing or if you simply require a reminder of the basic principles of course setting etc.

WEDNESDAY 29th SEPTEMBER 2021
STARTING AT 6.30PM IN ASC CLUBHOUSE

If anyone, in the mean time, has any questions covering specific topics on the race course, then David is the person to ask. Let us have your suggestions and we will arrange for a question and answer session.

The talk is scheduled to last for a couple of hours and that a fish and chip supper will also be included.  Please email RCSailing@attenboroughsc.org.uk stating if you will attend and whether you would like a ‘Fish & Chips’ supper or not (along with number attending) – by 6pm on Sunday 26/09/21.

DO THIS NOW or you’ll forget!!!

Please also make a note in your diary and attend this event, which we think you will find not only interesting and informative but will also give you increased confidence to execute those future sailing duties.
