CLUB REGATTA – Sunday 13th June 2021 – Starting @ 12 noon.
FUN FOR ALL THE FAMILY
The Sailing Committee is arranging the Club Regatta to take place on Sunday 13th June.
Yes..this coming Sunday!!….. with the current weather forecast predicting 24 degrees and lots of Sunshine, this promises to be a great event for all the family!
Our Commodore, Keith Adams, has accepted the challenge of being OOD1 and will be organising the ‘on the water’ events.
The afternoon will be aimed at ‘fun for all the family’. With the emphasis on having fun on the water, trying to master a range of different skills to those normally required for Series Racing.
Juniors, Cruiser’s, Potter’s, Mess about in Boater’s, and Regular Racer’s are all very welcome…
Expect boat handling skills such as ‘Rudderless’ & ‘Backward’ sailing. And other tasks such as ball collecting, and LeMan starts. The club boats will be utilised as much as possible.
The BBQ will be fired up (please bring your own food to cook yourselves) and the Bar & Galley will be well-stocked.
Covid rules must be followed at all times. But with the weather looking to be on our side for a lovely day (currently anyway :-). Bring the family down for some much-needed fun & laughter.
