Roger Day led the fleet away for the Christmas race on Sunday with an excellent start. After a good battle he was overtaken by Kevin Milton in his Phantom who went on to win the race quite easily. Malcolm Davidson played the shifts well to take second overall from Ray Kemish with Roger Day fourth. Great to see so many under-60s racing today and not that often 60% of the fleet are that young. Best dressed boat went to Roger Day and best dressed sailor was the elf like Malcolm Davidson.
The final race of a grueling season is on Boxing Day with a 11:30hrs start.
