Duncan Tames Gusty Sunday – the Initial View

Pleasant weather but a gusty wind welcomed the competitors this Sunday. Duncan Adams won the first race easily from the ever improving Louis Mok and Ray Kemish third. Ray was trying his best for the Flying Centerboard early entry with three capsizes although was beaten in that area by a mammoth capsize by Kevin Milton which saw a lot more swimming than sailing and an ultimate retirement. Similar fate for Malcolm Davidson.

Second race was a lot closer with Duncan winning from Ray Kemish and Bob Cuerstemont with only 40 seconds covering the three on corrected time.

There are two more races to go and first overall is between Duncan and Kevin Last with Ray Kemish and Louis Mok battling for third. Will Mothering Sunday have an impact?
