Attenborough Win Trent Tripartite – Just

The Trent Tripartite inter club competition at Attenborough saw an excellent turnout of 33 boats – 17 from the home club, ten from Nottingham and six from Trent Valley.

NSC: 117pts
TVSC 193.5pts

For Attenborough, Ray Kemish, Mike Pritchard and Jill Reid scored club counting points in all three races with Paul Jago, Kevin Milton, Louis Mok and Nick Turnbull-Ross also scoring.

The individual event was won by James Dalby of Trent Valley. Individual results showing a good split between the three clubs at top:

Thanks to those who helped make the event successful on the day, duty crew: Malcolm Davidson, Bill Shepherd, Roger Day, Bill Reid, Roy Perkins and Mike Leach plus onshore Gillian Day, the number cruncher plus those members who did maintenance and cleaned pontoons on Saturday.

Hopefully Iona Reid sold a all her excelelnt cakes and raised a lot of funds for her charity, Guide Dogs for the Blind.
