An excellent exhibition of how to sail well in windy conditions saw Duncan Adams win the prestigious Kingfisher Cup in his Phantom. Second were Nick and Ruth Marlow in a Lark and third was Mike Pritchard, who showing his age had opted for a Radial rig given the wind.
The Ladies Plate was won by Jill Reid in a Topper from Lucy Bennett (Laser) and Catherine Applegate (Comet).
For the next four weekends we have the Autumn Cup – two races each day starting at 14:00hrs and 16:00hrs.
