Local Heroes

Despite near gale force winds, some brave souls were determined to show that ASC members have no fear. Note the new homepage picture of Jon Paton and crew attempting to launch an RS200 into near earth orbit. Special mention also to Steve Coupe for actually achieving near earth orbit, albeit very briefly. Check out the gallery for a load of new photos!!

New Training School Principal

Roger Day has been appointed Training School Principal, replacing Richard Wood who has stood down from the position after two successful years in which the club school has expanded the courses and trained more instructors.

Prize Giving

The 2007 prize giving will be in the Club at 15:00hrs on 16th December

OOD Rota

The 2008 Rota is now being prepared. All members are expected to undertake at least three duties. To book dates pleaase put your name down on the sheet in the Clubhouse

Laying Up Supper

The 2007 Laying Up Supper was held at the Attenborough Visitor Centre on Friday the 16th of November. Over 40 people attended a very successful social event. Thanks to Social Sec Jon Adams for organising it.
