26 racers from 3 clubs took to the waters of Swarkestone Sailing Club for the 2018 Northern Tripartite on this sunny Sunday.
Attenborough’s Kevin Milton (photo) put Phantom 1442 into the lead off the line and round the first mark of the second of 3 races, but could only convert a great start into a 6th place race finish. A creditable 1st place in the last race, despite dislocating a finger, put Kevin in 4th place overall.
Hosts Swarkestone SC picked up the winners trophy with Sutton SC in 2nd place and Attenborough SC, represented by Kevin Milton, Andrew Beaumont and youth sailors Jill and Iona, in 3rd place. Jill took home the First Junior prize.
