A typical British summer’s day saw sun, wind and rain. The Gold, Silver and Bronze fleets were in race and there was some close racing on the water. The Gold fleet was won by Mike Pritchard with Nick and Ruth Marlow winning Silver fleet and Duncan Adams the Bronze fleet. The win means that Mike has won the Gold fleets overall with two races to go. Similarly a second today for Ray Kemish meant he has won the Silver fleet overall.
The second race saw the Fast and Slow fleets have separate starts with a dying wind. The first lap decision on which way to go round a few of our islands sorted the order out on the water quite quickly. Nick and Ruth Marlow won teh Fast fleet from Duncan Adams and Bob Cuerstemont. Mike Pritchard won the Slow fleet from Ray Kemish and Malcolm Davidson.
