We had 8 boats turn out for the first race training session on Friday evening.
The areas we covered where boats speed – how to slow/speed up your boat using the boats controls (not your leg!)
We used follow my leader skills and also tight circles
After this we turned out attention to Starting we had one aim…. TO HIT THE LINE AT SPEED.
After that we had a chat in the bar about what we found out, in all a great evening was had by all
Next Friday will step to on making a good start.
I will look forward to seeing you all down next Friday, please note if you cannot make the 6.30pm start time please turn up when you can and join in.
